    写在冬天来临之前

            芝加哥的秋天似乎很短，一个月内，树上的叶子就黄了大半。北方的秋天并不萧瑟，因为没有缠绵秋雨及不尽落叶，这样的秋天昭示着另一种力量的到来，那就是冬天。人们在冬天的活动，更加显示了与世间万物的不同。早上起来，把雪踩的吱吱响，猛吸一口冰冷的空气，像生鱼片加了过量的芥末，这是够味的冬天。
           我越来越对这个冬天的到来感到兴奋不已。

    是的，以前听说过芝加哥的一个人枪杀了他的女邻居。原因是他花了两个小时除雪清理出来的车位被邻居给占了。
